How Climate Change Is Affecting Our Earth In 2015

This post is also available in: English

The climate of the earth is changing. There is a gradual, but steady increase in the temperature of the earth including the atmosphere and the oceans. There are debates, and there are strategies at all levels. This change in the earth’s temperature is feared to be the changing of the overall climate of the earth. To some, global warming is only a hoax. However, to the majority of people, global warming is a serious issue, and they are taking steps to make sure that the earth stays cool and sustainable.

Gradual Warming

Over the past 100 years, the global temperature of the earth has risen. This may seem inconsequential. However, for the health of the earth, it can make a big difference. If the temperature growth continues at this pace, the results could be disastrous. In the last 50 years there have been many reasons for global warming. Excessive burning of fossil fuels, land clearing, extensive agriculture, and various other human activities are responsible for the rise of global temperature. As a result of global warming, the polar ice would melt and there would be floods in various regions of the world. There will also be an increase in the number and severity of storms in different areas of the world. This may also likely trigger severe weather conditions in many different parts of the world.

Climate change

There is news of adverse life conditions due to climate change of the area. The arctic sea ice is melting. In the year 2015, it has reached its minimum. It is the fourth lowest amount of ice in the arctic this year, according to information based off the satellite reports. There is a continuous downward trend in the amount of ice in the arctic. The report has been published by the National Snow and Ice Data Center. Recently, it has been noted that there is a decline in the polar bear population in the Svalbard and in the Franz Josef Land. And, according to the experts, it has occurred as a result due to adverse climate changes. A harsher landscape also means diminished crops for many of the affected parts of the world.

Greenhouse Effect

The greenhouse effect is necessary for life to thrive in this world. However, when it becomes stronger, it can affect the entire environment. When there is too much greenhouse gases in the environment, the overall temperature of the earth is increased, making the earth less habitable for all types of life forms. It is very important that we all do our part to save our earth from being affected by adverse climate changes. Extensive efforts are being made in every sector to counter the effects of climate change and to stop the reasons that are leading to the greenhouse effect. If greenhouse gas emissions can be controlled, adverse climate changes can be prevented, and possibly reversed. However, without the cooperation of the population, our home planet will likely continue in its terrible decline.
